Buttah up dem almonds Ma

Why Hello!!

I hope all you kitties had a great weekend full of fun and relaxation! We were fairly busy around the beach house and out and about! We had a very elaborate dinner at our friend’s on Friday night. The thai mussels were a highlight.

Saturday was absolutely gorgeous out..

We got up and went to hang out with the cutest infant in all of the world! Seth was being quite cute and is growing up so fast!

Nope! That’s not Bodhi! It’s his arch-nemesis Milo!

These characters were playing in the yard next door!

Thats a St. Bernard puppy and a pug. And they love each other. Someone get the movie rights to that one right now.

After breakfast and some serious relaxation, I headed out for my first outdoor run. P.A.I.N.F.U.L. I forgot how cushiony the treadmill is. My shins and quads were sore even right after the run. Usually it would be a few hours before the soreness set in. I will have to work on that!

Husband decided to head up to the new Moncton Casino with some boys so I got to tidy up the homestead and get up early and make a delicious pancake breakfast! I don’t know about you but sometimes some time to yourself is really rejuvenating.

Those are Angela’s Healthy Spelt Pancakes for One! They were delicious and oh so much easier not to burn with the new stove!!

After that I decided to try a recipe I have been eyeing for a VERY long time!

PUMPKIN SPICED ALMOND BUTTER a la Edible Perspective!
I really like this blogger. She lives in Colorado and eats so intuitively and cleanly! Very inspiring!

Here is her recipe in photos:
